Know that God loves you and is present with you. St. Andrew’s partners with NAMI Bucks County to help people find mental health support and to fight the stigma against mental illness. You can’t “pray away” mental illness, any more than you can pray away a broken leg. It’s not a sign of a lack of faith. It’s a sign that you need treatment, a community that listens, and support. St. Andrew’s and NAMI Bucks County can help you find all three.
If you or a loved one are experiencing mental health challenges, three ways to respond are: reaching out to others to let them know (including St. Andrew’s), seeking therapy, and calling NAMI for support:
